DGP hails govt. decisions, says would boost morale of the force
SRINAGAR, JUNE 07: Director General of Police Dr. S.P Vaid has hailed the government decisions regarding creation of Jammu and Kashmir Police Service cadre and also the increase in selection grade Constable quota from 25 per cent to 50 per cent.
DGP in his tweets, while thanking the government for the decisions, has congratulated the officers and Jawans and their families. He has said that by these two decisions hundreds of officers and Jawans are going to be benefited. These decisions would go a long to boost the morale of police force, DGP has said in his tweets.
Pertinent to mention here that the State government today accorded approval to the creation of JK Police Service Cadre and also enhancement in the quota of Selection grade Constable from 25 pc to 50 pc in the cabinet meeting. The decisions will help the constabulary and the officers of J&K Police immensely.
